I am a medical student and observed Dr. Sankar during his CPA meetings at Berrywood hospital. He was caring and attentive with patients and fostered a good team spirit amongst the MDT team. He was knowledgeable about mental health issues in young people and I really enjoyed my time in CAMHS.

I am a medical student who spent time on the ward with Dr Sankar. He provided teaching which he explained well and was very helpful and friendly.

My experience with Dr Sankar was excellent. As a parent with a child who has difficulty's its been a very long road to get some answers about my child. Dr sankar gave me the time to speak at length and gave real answers to my questions. I finally feel that someone has listened to all of my concerns and he has gave a way forward. He said that if I have any concerns to contact him directly - which is really reassuring as sometimes its only advice that parents need and to be given honest answers! - Not just I'll see you again in 9 months. I was very pleased with the way the meeting went with him.

Dr Sankar has years of experience which helped us in our decision making process. I would recommend him to other parents who have fears about their adhd child taking medication.

As far as i am concerned if you have to be admitted into hospital, request Berrywood because Dr Sankar is probably one of the best in the country and i am not just saying that. He gets to know the patient very well so he can understand which way is best to help them. He is always taking positive risks and 9/10 they work. You can go to Dr Sankar and talk to him about anything. The only thing i would change is a bigger variety of sweets in his lolly pop jar. I feel very happy and lucky to have been looked after and helped by Dr Sankar so thank you very much.
